Azkoyen: The future for the preparation of customised protein drinks is successfully launched in the United States

Azkoyen attended the Nama One Show, the most important trade fair for the vending industry within the American continent, which was held in Las Vegas on 22 – 24 April.

At this event, Azkoyen participated with Protein my Way Inc. in an exclusive presentation of the PMW3 model.

PMW3 has been designed specifically to make delicious protein shakes which are perfect for gyms and sports centres where users seek a good quality, healthy option whilst “on the go”.

According to information from Euromonitor, a leader in strategic market research, protein related sports products grew from 3,800 million dollars in 2007 to 7,400 million in 2012 and it is estimated that by 2017 the figure will reach 12,000 million dollars in the United States.

“It’s a booming market and at Azkoyen we decided to design a specific model for this sector that in the first phase will revolutionise the US market via Protein My Way, with a subsequent deployment in Europe and other markets. We wanted a machine for preparing customised protein drinks with a perfect density, texture and taste” says Eduardo Andueza, Head of Marketing at the Vending Systems Unit.
